Dr. Amanda Maltese earned her Bachelor’s degree, with high distinctions, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. At WPI, she did research in neuro-endocrinology, studied abroad, volunteered at the Franklin Park Zoo, and worked at a cat and bird clinic. Dr. Maltese went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University.
Dr. Maltese values the importance of having compassion and good listening skills. Her clients readily recognize her passion for medicine and her dedication to the care of their pets. She stays current with the latest diagnostics and treatments. Dr. Maltese has special interests in internal medicine, chronic disease management, pain control, and critical care.
When not working Dr. Maltese enjoys time with her family and baking. She has a one eyed Boston terrier named Kanga.
